Correa Tea is a delightful and refreshing infusion tea made with the fresh young tips of the Correa alba bush. Pick tips about 3 cm long and place a tip in each tea cup. Pour over boiling water and allow to steep for several minutes just as if you were making regular tea. Remove the correa tips, relax and enjoy your cuppa.
Correa alba is a very hardy shrub to 1.5 high x 1.5 m wide. This plant has a lovely grey foliage and will grow in a variety of conditions from extreme windswept coastal plantings to inland frosty clay soils. This plant flowers in winter so is an important food source for honeyeaters. Can be planted as a hedge.
