Apple berry has masses of flowers followed by gorgeous edible purple fruits. The fruits are about 2-3cm long and 1 cm wide. They can be eaten raw or stewed with a little sugar.
Apple Berry is a spectacular plant covered in gorgeous yellow/green tubular bell shaped flowers (not unlike a correa flower) in spring and followed by a spectacular display of purple berries in summer. Tough in most conditions but will flower and fruit better with added water in spring and summer. This is a climbing plant so will naturally climb up a trellis, arch or tree, but if there is nothing available will climb over itself to form a ball.
